Be Unbreakable (#180)

Life can set us back. There will be moments of challenge that require patience and adaptability. Be UNBREAKABLE in your pursuits and your dreams. If there’s something you’re working towards, don’t let a bad day take you off track altogether. These challenges are a part of life. It’s how we respond to them that defines who we are.

Being Positive Is My Only Real Option (#179)

Moping around doesn’t work, trust me I’ve tried. I think it’s so easy to be negative when nothing seems to be going right. It’s easier said than done to just let things go when it’s really bothering me. I still try my best to be positive, be patient, and use gratitude as much as possible and this where I’ve found the best results.

Why Gratitude? (#178)

I think in a dark and comical way, I’ve really come to appreciate this quote.

It’s true! Life can often times feel like an insurmountable challenge with no way of succeeding. We have one life. One opportunity to make the most of the precious time we’ve been granted and I want to make sure every second I live and every breath I take, has meaning. That means starting with gratitude. If the unspeakable happened tomorrow, I’ll have been grateful for every second leading up to that.

Life is unpredictable and our future is uncertain. I’ve stopped worrying about the things I can’t control and instead, use gratitude to give power to everything else. Whatever happens, I’m Grateful I’ve made it this far.

Dealing With Disappointment (#176)

As I’ve written before, I’m pretty frustrated with my visa situation. I’ve had countless friends and family members remind me to be patient and positive. As much as I appreciate them and their support, it doesn’t change the fact that I’m here.

It’s been tough to keep up with my gratitude but I believe even at our lowest points, there’s still so much we can look back on with appreciation and gratitude.

Find Momentum (#175)

I think it’s really easy to start anything, to try something once. In my opinion, it’s not much of a feat. What I’m impressed by and what I try and achieve in my own life is consistency. That can be challenging to find.

What keeps you going? What sparks something in you that screams you could do more? What keeps you present?

Working Towards My Goals (#174)

Not every blog I post is right on time. Not every list is the most creative. Why I continue to post isn’t just about me. It’s not just because I made a promise to myself, it’s because what gratitude represents.

To be honest, I’ll be glad when the year is over. Not because I’m tired of sharing gratitude or don’t believe in the same ideals but because I shouldn’t be so rigid in my routine or approach. I LOVE gratitude but have found after 174 posts, it’s lost some of the initial meaning.

I will continue to post my list of 25 things I’m grateful for. I’m not someone who gives up easily, trust me, I’m as stubborn as they come. I appreciate my fellow bloggers and I’m thankful I’ve learned so much as my journey approaches the half way point.

The Best Is Yet To Come (#172)

Another day at home.

My VISA has not processed as quickly as I thought it would. Reminders to be patient are all I have at this point. This summer is going differently than I thought it would to say the least. Yet, here I am.

I’ve come to accept I won’t be able to spend as much time in England as I would have hoped but I have my whole life ahead of me. I’m not sure what will happen 30 minutes from now let alone 30 Years. I know with patience, the best is still to come.
