Beyond What We Know (#173)

Life is meant to be exploratory. Embrace change in all its forms. Step outside your comfort zone and use gratitude as a tether to your present. We only know what we know and we don’t know what we don’t know. Life is about learning new things and that takes both time and experience. Be patient. The best is yet to come.

John Wooden

It’s a long road ahead but I’ve found myself to be in a good place along the way. Remembering my breath to enjoy the ride.

Time and Presence (#301)

Today, just a quote…

“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.”

― Eric Roth, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Screenplay

300 Days Of Gratitude! (#300)

Sometimes I’m worried I’m not doing enough. I’ve always been competitive but it doesn’t do me any good when I start comparing my process to others.

300 days of gratitude have taught me to love my own journey. To cherish and appreciate the time that’s passed and the moment and experiences to come. Most of all, 300 days of gratitude have taught me how much I love living in the moment. 300 days of gratitude has taught me to be present and to use my breathe when I’m not.

Change Is Inevitable (#299)

There have been times in my life where I’ve simply felt stuck. Unmotivated, unfulfilled, just plain stuck.

What I’m learning again and again is that change HAPPENS. Sometimes change occurs when we don’t even realize it. Sometimes we don’t want our situation to change and we become resistant.

I think it’s important to give value to these changes, to recognize and appreciate our process. Change is inevitable like the sun rising. Our breathe will be our anchor.

So I try to remember when I’m feeling stuck…go with the flow, change is on its way.

It’ll Be Alright (#298)

Adversity can be suffocating. It can isolate you and make you question everything. The walls close in, you feel trapped in this moment and there doesn’t seem to be any way out…

I’m here to remind you to hold on to hope. To be patient with your process and to tell you that you’re strong enough to get through this. Strong enough to find your way out. Remember to breathe and take it one day at a time. You’ll find your way.

It’ll Be Alright
