One More Day (#144)

I find myself getting anxious as I prepare for my summer abroad. I’ve had a hard time planning and packing but it’s a relief to know flights, car, and hostels are all booked for Iceland. Of course I’m stressed about going on vacation but I know as soon as I land I can take a deep breath and just be present. One more day but first recognize and be grateful for the day I just had.

Today I’m Grateful For…

  1. Old man basketball with my dad
  2. Seeing some of my best friends before my trip, and their reassuring words
  3. Getting breakfast with Mel in Amherst
  4. Singing in the car
  5. My dad helping me get packed and organized
  6. The neck pillow I plan on using on the plane
  7. Good music that puts me to bed
  8. Spending time with my family
  9. Clean and refreshing water
  10. Growth and learning
  11. No social media
  12. Talking things out
  13. New beginnings
  14. Talks on the steps of Boyden
  15. Written letters
  16. Good hugs
  17. Safe travels
  18. Adventure and stepping outside my comfort zone
  19. My cat loves Ashland and my Amherst apartment
  20. Good friends
  21. Moments that brought me here
  22. My Peer Mentors
  23. Passion and inspiration
  24. Healthy foods
  25. The here and now

As always, check out my first blog, 25 Things I’m Grateful For (#1) to know why I’m writing this list and why I want you to start yours.
