First Day of Everything (#157)

Remember your first day of school? Your first day in a new place? That anxious excitement sits in your stomach waiting in explode in a totally not gross way. It’s an opportunity to start fresh and embrace change. You may have an actual first day or it could just be the middle of your week. You have the chance to dictate how it goes and infusing that same enthusiasm into every day if you choose.

Easier said than done but it can lead to some pretty special moments when we do.

Today I’m Grateful For…

  1. My first day of work
  2. Getting my headphones in the mail today
  3. Email stories
  4. Starting over
  5. New routines
  6. Introvert time
  7. The sound of thunder in the distance
  8. The feeling of rain on my skin
  9. People who inspired me to start my gratitude journal
  10. People who inspire me to keep it going
  11. Sharing pictures and stories with others
  12. Listening to old vinyls with my dad
  13. A fresh mindset
  14. Summer grilling
  15. Clean water
  16. Convenient tissues for sneezes
  17. Lazy rivers and nothing to do
  18. Trying new things
  19. Feeling heard
  20. A couple deep breaths
  21. My square dancing class
  22. A contagious smile
  23. Meeting new people
  24. Letting go of expectations
  25. The present moment

As always, check out my first blog, 25 Things I’m Grateful For (#1) to know why I’m writing this list and why I want you to start yours.
