The World Around Us (#170)

I’ve been having a tough time waiting for my VISA and I feel restricted just sitting at home. There’s a whole world out there to explore and I’m sitting in the same room I’ve lived in for 15 odd years of my life. I’m doing my best to be grateful for my present but I know I messed up. I’m anxious to get back to England and resume my internship but I know that’ll come with time. Patience is my answer and a couple deep breaths will help me get there.

Today I’m Grateful For…

  1. Change
  2. Being at UMass
  3. Learning
  4. Trust
  5. Honesty
  6. Time to relax
  7. Warm socks
  8. Nights by the fire
  9. Reminders to be patient
  10. Good music
  11. The old wooden fence surrounding my house
  12. Time outside
  13. The fan next to my bed
  14. Anything my dad grills for dinner
  15. Gratitude
  16. Good advice
  17. Cereal snack after school
  18. Time at the gym
  19. A couple deep breaths
  20. Being alive
  21. Daydreams
  22. Car ride adventures
  23. Trying new things
  24. My family
  25. My here and now

As always, check out my first blog, 25 Things I’m Grateful For (#1) to know why I’m writing this list and why I want you to start yours.
