The Best Is Yet To Come (#172)

Another day at home.

My VISA has not processed as quickly as I thought it would. Reminders to be patient are all I have at this point. This summer is going differently than I thought it would to say the least. Yet, here I am.

I’ve come to accept I won’t be able to spend as much time in England as I would have hoped but I have my whole life ahead of me. I’m not sure what will happen 30 minutes from now let alone 30 Years. I know with patience, the best is still to come.

Today I’m Grateful For…

  1. Time with my cat, Ned
  2. Talks about life with my mom
  3. The afternoon breeze through the living room window
  4. Understanding
  5. Patience
  6. Good listening
  7. Supportive supervisors
  8. Another semester teaching CORE at UMass
  9. Quiet days
  10. Change of all kinds
  11. The unexpected
  12. Signs from the Universe
  13. Another chance
  14. Trying new things and foods
  15. Time to journal
  16. Clean water
  17. Memories at the train station
  18. Weekend soccer tournaments
  19. Patriot Sundays
  20. My family
  21. Warm Snickerdoodle cookies
  22. Friends from BSU
  23. Spotify Music and all my playlists
  24. Sharing chocolate desserts
  25. This very moment

As always, check out my first blog, 25 Things I’m Grateful For (#1) to know why I’m writing this list and why I want you to start yours.
