I think in a dark and comical way, I’ve really come to appreciate this quote.
It’s true! Life can often times feel like an insurmountable challenge with no way of succeeding. We have one life. One opportunity to make the most of the precious time we’ve been granted and I want to make sure every second I live and every breath I take, has meaning. That means starting with gratitude. If the unspeakable happened tomorrow, I’ll have been grateful for every second leading up to that.
Life is unpredictable and our future is uncertain. I’ve stopped worrying about the things I can’t control and instead, use gratitude to give power to everything else. Whatever happens, I’m Grateful I’ve made it this far.

I am caught up in your words, “use gratitude to give power to everything else.” This is such an empowering approach to life. It shifts our mindset from expectation and disappointment to reflection and gratefulness. As we live with gratitude we give power to selflessness and welcome growth. Thank you for inspiring gratitude!
