Make The Most Of It (#233)

Time is limited. I know my post yesterday was about time but this is my effort to be present with gratitude. Time stood still in England. Each day felt like the longest 24 hours I had ever experienced. Now that I’m home, each day seems to end before it starts. I’m grateful when I can spend meaningfully with family and friends. I plan to make the most of my time and I plan to do that with gratitude.

Today I’m Grateful For…

  1. Seeing my parents and brother
  2. Being reunited with my cat, Ned
  3. Ice cream trips
  4. The view from my balcony
  5. Eggs in the morning
  6. Singing in the car with the windows down
  7. Trying new things
  8. The sound of rain on my windshield
  9. The mystery of fog
  10. Rides in the van with my family
  11. A familiar feeling in new circumstances
  12. Being here at UMass
  13. Acoustic guitar in the morning
  14. Cool candles and fresh plants
  15. Productive time
  16. Walking barefoot through the yard and the feeling of grass between my toes
  17. Local bagels my mom brings home
  18. Sharing music
  19. Morning runs before school
  20. The deep green of New England trees
  21. Tea and meditation with my uncle
  22. The smell of the earth after rain
  23. Taking time for myself
  24. Faith in the Universe
  25. The here and now
  • As always, check out my first blog, 25 Things I’m Grateful For (#1) to know why I’m writing this list and why I want you to start yours.
