When Life Gets Crazy (#254)

Life often feels like a balancing act between juggling responsibilities and taking care of yourself or your family. When the stress sets in, remind yourself that you still need to take care of you.

Personally, I get frustrated hearing people tell me that “they’ll be fine” or “it’s no big deal” when they’re not taking care of themselves. Finding time for you is important. It’s not always easy but it’s important. Be grateful when you can.

  4. Time to listen to music
  5. Sharing desserts and talking things out
  6. Good communication
  7. Time at the gym
  8. My family
  9. The warmth of the sun
  10. When I can help others
  11. Summer games and lawn competitions
  12. The feeling after you brush your teeth
  13. My grandparents
  14. A couple deep breaths
  15. Starting my day with tea
  16. A clean apartment and a vacuumed rug
  17. The smell of fresh cut grass
  18. Clean water and my Cambodia friends
  19. Video games nights with my cousins
  20. The trees in the horizon
  21. Knowing I’m not alone
  22. When my cat Ned gets excited about dinner
  23. The fan next to my bed
  24. My supervisor Adam
  25. This very moment

As always, check out my first blog, 25 Things I’m Grateful For (#1) to know why I’m writing this list and why I want you to start yours.
