Doing My Best (#284)

I’ve had to remind myself quite frequently this week that there’s no such thing as perfection. Gratitude and meditation are considered practices because you can always improve. I’ve had to remind myself that I’m doing the best I can and that’s enough.

I’m grateful for my learning and my process. I know after a couple deep breaths, I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

  5. Ice cream trips in the summer
  6. My family
  7. UMass dining
  8. 10 seconds of incredible bravery
  9. Change and letting things go
  10. My Peer Mentor staff
  11. Bike rides through campus
  12. Support and understanding
  13. The warmth of the rising sun
  14. Clean water
  15. Time for reading
  16. My breath to ground me
  17. Warm scarves and socks
  18. Gratitude
  19. Study guides
  20. Cereal snacks
  21. Movies in class
  22. Trust and patience
  23. When things go as planned
  24. My friends and my support system
  25. The here and now

As the cold creeps in, I remember this gray lake fondly. I spend a lot of time thinking here.
